Learn about the optimal progression strategy for Governor Charms.

Overview

Understanding how Governor Charms work

Governor Charms are upgradeable items attached to each gear element. Each of the 6 gear elements (Crown, Pendant, Top, Pants, Bracelet, Staff) has 3 charms that can be upgraded independently. Each charm has 22 levels of progression.

Key Features:

  • 6 Gear Elements: Each gear element has 3 charms (18 charms total)
  • 22 Levels per Charm: Each charm can be upgraded from Level 1 to Level 22
  • Stat Bonuses: Each level increases your governor's stats by a percentage
  • Power Gains: Early levels provide significant power, later levels focus on stat increases
  • Resource Requirements: Costs increase as you progress through levels

Progression Strategy

How to efficiently upgrade your charms

Optimal Approach:

Since each gear element has 3 charms, you should balance the progression:

  • 1
Balance Within Element: Keep all 3 charms of the same element at similar levels for optimal stat distribution
  • 2
Element Priority: Focus on Infantry, then Archers then Cavalry

Resource Management

Tips for managing Charm Guides and Charm Designs

Charm Guides

Charm Guides are required for every level upgrade. The quantity needed increases progressively from 5 at Level 1 to 1,105 at Level 22.
